Constanca-hat is worked in the round from the brim up. You can adjust the length by adding more pattern repeats for longer, more slouchy hat.

The pattern has instructions for both fingering and sport weight yarns which are both written and charted except the crown.

40 -70 g of fingering weight yarn, app. 384 m (420 yds) per 100 g. The sample hat (size 56-58 cm/ 23-24 inches) was knitted with Malabrigo Yarn Mechita in colourway Cereza, (100% Merino), 384 m (420 yds) per 100 g and used 50 g.

2.75 mm/ US 2 and 3.25 mm/ US 3 (80 cm/ 32 inches or longer for magic loop) circular needle, or set of four DPNs
cable needle (optional), markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends

With size 2.75 mm/ US 2 needle: 32 sts x 44 rows = 10x10 cm/ 4x4 inches with smaller needles in ribbing stitch after blocking, not stretched
