Niah-hat is worked in the round from the brim up. Both the brim and the pattern repeat are quite stretchy and accommodate a variety of sizes. The size M and L are knitted with same stitch counts but with different size needles.

You can adjust the length by subtracting or adding more pattern repeats.

Yarn

100 g of DK or worsted weight yarn, app. 200 m (219 yds) per 100 g in two colours, 100 g of MC and 15 g of CC (5 g if you will not make the pompom).

The sample hat was knitted with Fyberspates Vivacious DK (MC) in colourway 802 Copper Tones (100% Merino) 230 m/ 230 yds per 115 g and Malabrigo Rios (CC) in colourway Cereza (100% Merino) 192 m/ 210 yds per 100 g.

Needles & notions

Size S and M uses size 3.50 mm/ US 4 and size L size 3.75 mm/ US 5 needles for the brim, for the body all sizes use size 4.5 mm/ US 7 circular needle (80 cm/ 32 inches or longer for magic loop) or set DPNs or size to meet the gauge
