THE CONSTELLATIONS COLLECTION
Like the stars in a constellation, the swathes of colour in the Constellations Mitts group together to paint a spectacular picture.

Worked in blocks to show off the tonal variations and variegations of hand dyed yarn, the palettes of the Constellations Collection range from soft, subtle, and gently lovely to bright, bold, and eye-catching.

We’ve suggested our favorite colour order, but it’s not the only option. These colours have all been carefully curated to work together, so you can follow along or chart your own colour adventure. Just choose your palette and cast on to see the colours play on your needles.

Designed especially for SpaceCadet’s Constellations Collection and kitted exclusively in Oriana (90% sw merino, 420 yards/100g), one bundle of eight 20g mini-skeins will make one hat and one pair of mitts. It will also work for small amounts of yarn - each colour block in the mitts requires approximately only 4g of yarn! It’s a perfect way to use ends and leftovers from treasured skeins.

MITTS
Knit top-down with an afterthought thumb, these mitts are designed to fit snugly around the fingers for warmth, then flow loosely over the wrist and forearm. This loose fit means that they can go over sleeves - the best way to show off your knitting and favorite colour palette!

With their minimalist approach to traditional mitt shaping, Constellations Mitts are perfect for beginners to start working in the round and offer an opportunity to try out an afterthought thumb construction and multiple colour changes. For more experienced knitters, they’re a canvas for their creativity: colour blocks, stripes, colourwork, textured stitches… the possibilities are endless!

Gorgeous colour palettes blending exciting variegated colors with subtle yet expressive semi-solids keeps the knitting engaging for novice and experienced knitters alike.

Want more colour? Don’t know what to knit next? There’s a matching hat!
