While this shawlette would look beautiful in any soft dk weight yarn (Cascade Ultra Pima comes to mind,) Artyarns Ensemble Glitter Light was really the inspiration for this piece.

If you have never crocheted with a fine cashmere yarn, you simply must treat yourself to this delight!

The shawlette pattern instructions are easy enough for an experienced beginner and the lovely scalloped edge is
made-as-you-go. No need to crochet a finished edge! The pattern results in an elongated triangle.

Model was made with a light dk and size F 3.75mm hook. Fingering weight can also be used with an F hook. For a heavier dk, I recommend a size I 5.50mm hook. For worsted weight, I recommend a size K 6.50mm hook. Though gauge is not important, you want loose stitches that will allow your scarf to stretch into a nice long, narrow triangle.

The photos here are of my model still-in-progress, though I have worked out the math for the finished size. Size will vary according to yarn used.
