This simple sweater done as proof of concept of continuing back and front construction. It uses top down setting sleeve construction but you do not have to start new ball of yarn after finishing back and moving working on the fronts. At the same time you are knitting sleeves as well.
I just want to share this type of top down constructions with other knitters.
The pattern instructions based on my two previously published designs- Lara and Elfie.
Using this sweater as a base you can create your own custom sweater changing length of the body, sleeves, using different stitch patterns, shape the neck line.

There is the story behind this pattern.
When I was making my Lara sweater I want to try new (for me) top down construction method with setting sleeves that was already around for some time. But, I do not want to cut the yarn for fronts after finishing back piece and then rejoining the yarn again. So, I was tweaking existing method to get results I want. My friend Jenny (sweaterfreak) watching my struggle said I should make this method public. I said yes, sure, I will do it when I have time. My other friend - Natalia (NataliaL) was testing Lara and asked (lucky me) if she could modify original pattern and make just simple sweater. Finally, three years after, I put together this pattern as Jenny advised. Natalia was so kind and allow me to use her photos.
