Contrarian: A person who rejects standard social norms, beliefs and opinions. Contrarian is a Tunisian crochet shawl with a less than conventional construction created in beautiful Roots Lite (50g/200yds per skein) and Making Tracks Lite (50g/210yds per skein) yarn from Junction Fiber Mill. The shawl is worked in four sections: a solid color base triangle, two small side triangles, then mitered squares along the lower edges, and finally a thin border edging in the solid base color. No sewing is required as parts are assembled by working into stitches of adjoining elements. Two skeins of Roots Lite (as pictured color Forest) and two skeins of Making Tracks Lite (as pictured color Enchanted Forest) are used to create this shawl that will definitely stand out from the crowd.
