When those hand-painted yarns want to knit up into absolute chaos with streaks, flashes, and pools, it is time to take control and force the colors to bend to your will. With some planning and a bit of simple intarsia, you become the boss of those colors. After all, it’s your hat.

Required Skills: Long-tail cast on, working in-the-round on circulars and dpns. Prior experience with intarsia is helpful but not required (photo tutorial is incorporated into the pattern instructions).
