This pattern was created to celebrate the 13th annual DFW Fibeer Fest. It is worked with a combination of crochet and knitting, bringing together two marvelous crafts. It begins at the top of the hat with basic crochet in the round. Once enough circumference has been reached you pick up stitches with the knitting needle around the crocheted piece, knit a bit and then alternated between knitting and crochet for the duration of the project.
