Conversationalist (Gemini) is available individually and as part of the Zodiac Collection. 12 patterns inspired by each Zodiac sign.

Geminis are intelligent, insightful, logical, and often very funny. They are great communicators, very responsive to people’s feelings and needs. Geminis tend to have large social circles and always have a companion, easily making friends everywhere they go. They are very sensitive listeners and have the ability to talk to almost anyone

For Geminis, I design a shawl thinking about how entertaining to be around they are. The shawl is colorful and asymmetrical, with a fun and easy openwork pattern. Worked in an airy light silky yarn mixed with a fingering merino, this delicate shawl is all about the fabric and it will make a beautiful piece in your wardrobe. The final touch is a surprising garter stitch ruffle for the border.

Are you a Gemini? I would love to hear from you. Let me know in the comments if the pattern fits your personality.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES
The shawl is worked flat from the right tip towards the left edge, with delightful stitch pattern formed by passing stitches over and eyelets. The border is a delicate garter stitch ruffle.
My sample uses fingering weight yarn for the main color and lace weight yarn for the contrasting color, but you can use yarns with the same weight. Just keep gauge when working with different yarn weights by changing needle size if necessary.
The pattern is easily adjustable for the amount of yarn you have.
