For your best-loved bikers, this versatile piece is designed to be worn BOTH as a cowl or a beanie. On the top edge, an i-cord threaded through an eyelet round allows to be cinched for wearing as a hat or left loose when used as a cowl.

This pattern is worked bottom-up in the round, with 2 yarns together on both edges, and stranded colorwork in the main body.

It is a very quick project to make. Depending on your knitting skills/speed, you can have one ready in 4-6 hours!

As a trick to calculate the time needed, multiply by 5-6 the minutes spent to finish the bottom edge.

You can easily customize the chart, provided the one of your choice has a similar number of stiches (36) and rows (22).
