You’ll need 2 stitch markers to complete this project. Closed safety pins large enough to slip onto the knitting needles will work very well. You can also use string of contrasting color yarn tied into little loops that can slip on the needles. You’ll also need 2 stitch holders, (two 12’ lengths of string or scrap yarn will do the job if you don’t have st holders).
