This little cotton top is crocheted all in one piece from the top down with no seams.
It has a square/rounded neck with a side split and 1 button.
The sleeves are short.
The length can be increased if wanted by adding more rounds after the sleeve openings.

It is worked in a simple combination of half treble (half double) crochet and chain stitches, with the neck, sleeve and bottom edges worked in double (single) crochet stitch. Details of the stitches are clearly given in the pattern.

The pattern is easy to follow and has clear instructions written in both STANDARD US and STANDARD UK TERMS.

Instructions are given for sizes 0-3, 3-6, 6-12, 12-18, and 18-24 months.

I have used Sirdar 100% Cotton DK yarn but any DK yarn that makes up to the same tension can be used.
