Measurements
41” square knit as written at given gauge (approximately 57” along the diagonal)

Materials
-- Depending on the circular cast-on method you choose, you may need a crochet hook in a size compatible with your gauge needles or a bit smaller
-- Set of 5 US 4/3.5 mm dpns (or long circular for magic loop or 2 circulars), or size needed to obtain gauge or a nice fabric
-- Circular needles in the same needle size to transfer to as your shawl grows (you will probably want to start with a 24” or shorter circular and then move to a longer cable)
-- Stitch markers
-- Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
-- Blocking supplies

See several tutorials for circular cast-ons here.
