This design reminds me of trails in the mountains that our family likes to hike. The name Copper Trail is a combination of these trails and the beautiful coppery color of The Farmer’s Daughter yarn. It is perfect to wear on a fall hike in the mountains or wherever your feet take you.

This hat is worked from the bottom up in the round on a 16” circular needle, switching to DPNs when necessary. This hat uses a cable needle, but you can also use the “cable without a cable needle” technique. This hat uses a small amount of contrast color on the brim of the hat and for a pom pom. You may opt to use only one color throughout and/or omit the pom pom.
