This adorable headband is inspired by the poppy, or “coquelicot”, in French.

It is a simple, beginner colorwork pattern that also includes a textured stitch in the form of a bobble.

This pattern can be created with endless color combinations, & truly shines with hand spun yarn.

It also works as a scrap buster project as you only need 13 yards maximum for contrast yarn.

It is only written in one size but the fit can be altered slightly depending on needle size.

Steam blocking is recommended upon completion to settle down any rogue colorwork stitches.
