Coquelicot Vest

A light, airy vest with a softly flared silhouette, delicate side ties, and optional ruffles — inspired by the wild poppies of the French countryside.

Coquelicot Vest takes its name and inspiration from the poppies that bloom across the French countryside in spring. The front and back panels open gently towards the hem, echoing the lightness and movement of flower petals. Worked with La Bien Aimée Alix and Soyeux held together, the fabric is soft, airy, and subtly luminous.

The vest is worked from the top down and flat. The back is worked first, followed by the two fronts. I-cord edging finishes the neckline and armholes, while I-cord ties at each side allow the fit to be adjusted. An optional ruffle can be added to the front for an extra touch of movement and texture.

The vest is designed with approximately 5–10cm / 2–4″ of positive ease. The side ties offer some flexibility in fit and can be tied more tightly or loosely according to your preference.

Coquelicot Vest

Un gilet léger et aérien, à la silhouette délicatement évasée, avec de petits liens sur les côtés et des volants facultatifs — inspiré par les coquelicots sauvages des campagnes françaises.

Coquelicot Vest tire son nom et son inspiration des coquelicots qui fleurissent dans les campagnes françaises au printemps. Les pans du devant et du dos s’évasent doucement vers le bas, rappelant la légèreté et le mouvement des pétales. Tricoté avec Alix et Soyeux de La Bien Aimée tenus ensemble, le tissu obtenu est doux, aérien et subtilement lumineux.

Le gilet se tricote du haut vers le bas et à plat. On commence par le dos, puis les deux devants sont réalisés. L’encolure et les emmanchures sont terminées par une bordure en I-cord, tandis que des liens en I-cord sont ajoutés de chaque côté afin d’ajuster le porté. Un volant facultatif peut être ajouté sur le devant pour apporter encore plus de mouvement et de texture.

Coquelicot Vest的名字与灵感来自春天盛开在法国乡野间的虞美人。前后片向下自然展开，呈现出如花瓣般轻盈而流动的轮廓。样衣使用La Bien Aimée Alix与Soyeux合股编织，织物柔软、轻盈，并带有细微的光泽感。

Coquelicot Vest采用自上而下片织的结构。首先编织后片，再分别完成左右前片。领口和袖笼使用I-cord收边，两侧加入I-cord系带，可以根据自己的穿着习惯调节松紧。前片还可以选择加入荷叶边，为整体增加更多层次与动态感。
