This stunning shawl is knitted with a bedazzling shell stitch pattern. The French name for a shell is Coquille. I think the name is just as pretty as the shawl. Rectangular in shape and generous in size this shawl is a joy to knit and let’s just say it, it is gorgeous!

As shown in the photos, two very distinct yarns were held together for a marled look throughout this project which gives it such great stitch definition, a bit of sheen and a very elegant look.

The blocked measurements are 57” in length and 22” in height.

Yarn
Darlon, sport, 2 skeins, 309 yard skein.
Linen, fingering, 3 skeins, 192 yard skein.
Both are vegan yarns and together create a luxurious DK weight for your shawl as shown.
Knit kits/yarns available at www.yarnz2go.com

Alternatively use 570 in a DK weight yarn. Keep in mind though that wool yarn blocks differently, it has more spring and you may have to add more repeats to get the size as advertised.
