Coral Cove Scarf
The Coral Cove Scarf is a small triangular scarf worked entirely in honeycomb brioche. The samples shown above are knitted in sport- and fingering-weight yarn respectively, showing how the pattern can work with different yarns and weights, as long as the chosen yarn creates a fabric that works well with the honeycomb brioche stitch.
The sample measures 160 × 35 cm (63 × 13.75”), but the size can easily be customized by adjusting the number of pattern repeats.
Gauge is not critical for this scarf. What matters most is achieving a fabric that works well with the honeycomb brioche stitch.
Languages: English, French, German and Danish
SIZES
One size: 160 × 35 cm (63 × 13.75”)
YARN
1 strand of fingering- or sport-weight yarn
Approx. yardage: 600 m / 656 yds
Sample 1:

NEEDLES & MATERIALS
3.75 mm (US 5) circular needles, 60–80 cm (24–32”) in length
Tapestry needle
GAUGE
10 × 10 cm (4 × 4”) = 22 sts × 30 rows in stockinette stitch on 3.75 mm (US 5) needles
10 × 10 cm (4 × 4”) = 20 sts × 56 rows in honeycomb brioche stitch on 3.75 mm (US 5) needles
Gauge and needle size are provided as a reference and do not need to match exactly. I recommend swatching the chosen yarn in honeycomb brioche and adjusting the needle size if needed to achieve a fabric you like. A looser gauge will result in a larger scarf and may increase yarn requirements.
