Corbett Brook Mittens are stranded mittens knit with worsted weight wool that have a snuggly lined cuff and a beautiful Latvian braided edge. Instructions for the main body of the mitten are charted only. This pattern has been professionally tech edited.

A great project for using up some bits and bobs of worsted leftovers. A heavier DK weight yarn would be fine as well.

Size: small, medium and large (to fit a 7, 7.5 and 8 inch palm circumference). The length is adjustable.

Gauge:
small with 3.5 mm (US 4) needles: 28 stitches over 4 inches (10 cm)
medium with 4.0 mm (US 6) needles: 24 stitches over 4 inches (10 cm)
Large with 4.5 mm needles (US 7): 22 stitches over 4 inches (10 cm)

Three colours of worsted weight yarn are required
Approximately 104 m (115 yards) of the main colour, 80 m (90 yards) of a contrasting colour, and 20 metres (21 yards) for the cuff contrast colour.
