Construction

  • This pullover is worked seamlessly from the top down. The yoke is worked in a two-color garter and slip stitch pattern that shifts every few rounds to create a spiral. The yoke shaping is worked on knit rounds. The back is shaped using short rows before the body and sleeves are divided. The body is worked circularly to the hem, then the sleeves are worked circularly to the cuffs.
  • Two collar options are given, a crew neck and a turtleneck.
  • The core pattern is written for a classic, straight body with no front chest, waist or hip shaping. See the appendices for optional front chest, waist, and/or hip shaping options. Bust darts are also optional for the pronounced front chest variation.
