This cardigan has a relaxed fit with dropped shoulders. It is knitted seamlessly top down
The cardigan is started at the back neck and then increased to the full width of the back The shoulders are sloped and worked by increasing stitches along the shoulder line
After finishing the increases, the front and back are separated and knitted individually to create the sleeve openings. After that, the pieces are joined again and worked seamlessly down to the hem. Lastly, stitches are picked up around the sleeve openings and worked in the round. The button-band is worked in double knitting and done at the same time.
The length of the body and sleeves are easily modified to suit your own body measurements. I recommend trying the cardigan on every now and then while working on it to make sure you get the perfect length for your style.
