My Meme made hundreds of pairs of these slippers. As a kid, I looked forward to visiting her and going through the box of slippers to pick a new pair; all made in different color combinations. The Corn Cob texture was so tight, I felt an inch taller when I put on a new pair. They were great for sliding down her wood floored hallways, too.

To my knowledge, the pattern was never written down. After she passed, I took an old pair I still had, albeit with holes, and I started unraveling one so I could determine the decrease rows. I think I have it!
