Important note : the sweater have been graded from XS to 5XL (see size chart for measurements) However it has only been tested up to size XL, so if you wish to knit it in one of the larger size, please send me a message at lorienknits@gmail.com and I’ll send it for free.

Cornaline is a cosy sweater knitted seamlessly from the top down. The upper front and back are worked flat and the rest of the sweater in the round. It is designed so you can combine your favorite colors to create a sweater that is fun to knit and easy to wear, that will bring you joy and cosiness during the winter months.

It is designed to be knitted with Cirro by the Fibre Co, knitting two strands together. Here are its characteristic :

– Yarn weight: Sport
– Fibre: 40% Suri alpaca, 40% organic cotton, 20% Merino wool
– Length: 225 m (246 yd) per 50 g hank
– Tension / Gauge: 23 sts per 10 cm (4 in)
– Needle size: 4mm (US 6)

For a similar look, you can use mohair or brushed Alpaga, or any yarn that is lightweight and a bit fluffy.
The neckline goes up quite high, so be careful to choose a yarn that does not itch at all since the neck is a sensitive area. ( Cirro is a delight to wear directly against the skin)

The design is a bit cropped, so if you want it to cover your lower back or if you are tall, you will need a larger quantity of yarn.

The ease at the bust is about 13cm / 5”, It is designed to be a very confortable, relaxed fit.

Cornaline est un pull moelleux et confortable tricoté sans coutures de haut en bas. Le haut du buste est tricoté en allers-retour et le reste en rond. Il est conçu pour que vous combiniez vos couleurs préférées afin de créer un pull fun à tricoter et à porter, pour vous apporter un peu de joie et de moelleux pendant les longs mois d’hiver.

Il a été conçu avec la laine Cirro de the Fibre Co, en tricotant 2 brins ensemble. Voici ses caractéristiques :

– Épaisseur : Sport
– Composition: 40% Suri alpaca, 40% coton bio, 20% laine Merino
– Longueur: 225 m par écheveau de 50g
– Échantillon: 23m pour 10 cm
– Taille d’aiguille recommandée: 4mm

Pour un rendu similaire, vous pouvez utiliser du mohair ou du brushed Alpaga, ou n’importe quelle laine légère et un peu poilue de ce style.
Attention, l’encolure monte assez haut donc prenez garde à choisir une laine qui ne gratte pas du tout puisque le cou est une zone très sensible. En l’occurence, Cirro est un délice à porter à même la peau.

Il est conçu pour être un peu court, porté avec une taille haute, donc si vous voulez qu’il vous couvre bien le bas du dos prévoyez une quantité de laine plus importante.
