Gauge
21 sts and 28 rows in stockinette st and pattern on needle size4mm/US6=10x10cm/4x4inches.
IMPORTANT! It is important that gauge is the same, both in stockinette st and in pattern. Many knitters will need to go up or down a half or 1 needle size when switching to or from multicolored knitting, to maintain the same gauge.

Directions
The sweater is worked in the round, from the top down. First knit back and forth while increasing at the raglan and at the beginning and end of every other round, to form the neckline. Then cast on stitches for the neck line mid front and gather the piece to work in the round. Knit the rest of the yoke with increases at the raglan, whereafter the work is divided and the sleeves and body are finished separately.
