Cornflowers are beautiful and resilient field flowers which grow in vibrant shades of blue and pink, so for these squares you get to whip out your most electric and radiant colors!

This square is easy to learn and remember after a few repeats, and it can easily be mixed with standard granny squares in various projects. The only trickier stitch used is a front post double crochet, but if you’ve never made those before, this is a perfect opportunity to learn!
