Cornish shawl begins by casting on a few stitches. The piece is then knit sideways into a wide, slightly asymmetrical triangle. The design features an easy to knit lace body of undulating waves. The stockinette border is completed with a sideways lace bind off.

Instructions are included for two sizes - a one-skein scarf size, and a large 2-skein shawl.

This pattern is charted only.

The shawl size (beige sample) blocked measures: 200 cm / 80 inch wide by 65 cm / 26 inch deep.

The shawl size requires approximately 700 m / 758 yds. The shawl sample shown was made using 2 skeins of Desert Bloom Luxury yarn in the colorway Sand Dollar Cactus and was knit on a 3.5 mm / 4 US needle.
