Beat the stress of COVID-19 and self isolation with this adorable little stress ball! This little critter has been really fun to design, and I hope the pattern can bring some light into people’s homes during this difficult time.

This pattern is knit in-the-round in one piece, with bobble stitches used to create the raised bumps. Face mask is optional and knit separately.

You will need:

  • A set of 3.5mm double-pointed knitting needles (US size 4)
  • Grey and red yarn in DK weight
  • Polyfil toy stuffing
  • 1 tapestry needle for finishing
  • Small amount of black yarn for embroidering details

Optional:

  • Two black toy safety eyes (5mm diameter)
  • Small amounts of yellow and orange yarn
  • Small amount of white yarn for the face mask (DK weight)

All money raised through the sale of this pattern is to be donated to Age UK, a registered charity for the elderly in the United Kingdom, to support them during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

You may sell the completed items that you have made yourself, provided you donate profits to charitable causes, and provided you give credit to Matter Matter as the designer and link to my Instagram (@mattermatteruk) and to my Ravelry store.

The pattern as a whole or any part (including photos) may not be reproduced, redistributed, resold, translated, published (online or printed), altered, shared or posted (for sale or free) over the Internet or any other media source.
