Lace and cables are some of my favourite elements of knitting, and as someone who is almost never barefoot, it seemed natural to combine them in a pair of socks! This pair of socks is all about details- from a gentle purl to knit transition, to lace and twisting cables, these socks balance structure with softness. Corset Socks seemed like the perfect name because the lace pattern down the foot reminds me of the shape of a laced-up corset, and the cables speak to the boning found in corsets. I’m so excited to share my first pattern with you, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Corset socks are one-size-fits-all design, with a set circumference, but the length adjustable for your feet.

These socks are perfect for intermediate knitters who are comfortable with socks, easy cables, and lace. Instructions are written step-by-step for each section of the sock, and knit charts are also available for the foot and heel flap design!

You can either use light fingering weight yarn to be held double stranded, or fingering yarn to be held single stranded. I used Loops&Threads Woolike held double stranded in the colour Teal, and my testers used fingering weight sock yarn.
