YARN

For the coin purse/cosmetic bag, you will need yarn in two colors, 30g of each color. The yarn should have a length of 200m/ 222yds per 100g.
For my coin purse/cosmetic bag, I used the following yarn:
Trysil Garn Sportsgarn – 100% wool, 100m/111yds = 50g.

YOU WILL NEED

Sock needles or circular needles (if you use the “Magic Loop” method) in size US 2½ – 3.0 mm, or needles of other sizes to achieve the required gauge; a marker to indicate the beginning of the round if you use the “Magic Loop” method, a clasp frame 3,4’’ ( 8,5 sm), and a needle for sewing the clasp frame.

GAUGE

20 stitches x 25 rows = 4” x 4” (10 cm x 10 cm) in stockinette stitch after blocking on US 2½ – 3.0 mm needles.
