Welcome the arrival of Comet Ison with Cosmos. Carry the stars and sky with you and keep your head and hands warm at the same time. Worked in-the-round in Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift fingering weight yarns, the Cosmos Tam comes in 3 sizes, child through adult. Cosmos Mittens are one size. Either may be made larger using the Jamieson’s DK weight Shetland yarns.

Needles: US #2/ 2.75 mm and US #1/2.25 mm dpns or circular needles, OR sizes needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 36 sts and 56 rows in Stockinette st using larger needle and 42 sts and 50 rows in pattern st using larger needle.

Materials: Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift (100% Shetland Wool, 25g = 105 m) Note: this is enough yarn for both tam and mittens
