Original Headband is made with half a skein of Chunky Yarn. This can be easily substituted with doubled up worsted; crocheting two balls of worsted yarn at the same time.

Since this pattern can be as long as you want, it is entirely subjective when to stop! You can make a thin Spring headband or go all the way and make it into a cowl!

We used about 60 yards and 1.8 oz of chunky yarn to make a medium sized headband (Colorful blue), and 1.4 oz / 2 balls of 130 ish yards of acrylic worsted for the white acrylic crown.

This size fits a medium/average headsize. I suggest if you want a looser feel to go up .5-1 mm in your hook size
