This is a simple pattern. As long as you can chain, single crochet (US) and decrease stitches, you’re good to go.

It hasn’t been tested yet, so if you spot any mistakes, please let me know.

It’s a great way to use up ends of balls and leftovers. You need 75 grams of aran yarn.

I recommend using 100% wool because it is absorbent and doesn’t smell if it gets urinated on. It’s also safer if your critter chews at it, and it’s felt-able.

It is made in 5 parts and then sewn together as the seams add structure.

I’ve tried to make a picture heavy, easy to understand pattern for people who aren’t confident crocheters.

A simple 1 page pattern for easy printing and for proficient crocheters is also included

Gauge is unimportant, but tighter is better for a sturdy fabric.
