This scarf or shallow shawl is knit from side to side with an integrated cabled border on the neck and bottom edges. It measures about 68” wide, and about 13” from the neck edge to the point at the widest part.

It uses just 2 skeins of yarn, one in each color. I used the natural color and Cobble Stone, a pretty handpainted grey tonal yarn, but it could easily be knit with one 450 yard skein of any fingering weight yarn. It would be very easy to make this scarf wider, or to knit it in just one yarn (no striping).

Gauge is not super important for this pattern.
