COTTAGE SOCKS

This is a pattern I came up with for knitting my home socks, and I’m happy to share it with you. The pattern is fairly easy and it makes wonderfully warm socks.

Materials needed:

• approx 100 gr aran or worsted weight yarn (the yarn used for the socks in the photos is Nako Inci Hit Tweed, an inexpensive worsted weight yarn, but use any kind of worsted weight yarn)
• 4 mm double pointed needles
• stitch markers
• tapestry needle

Size:
One size to fit an average sized women’s foot approx UK size 4-9 / EU 37-42 / US 6-11

Gauge:
18 sts x 25 rows = 10 cm / 4” in stockinette stitch
