I have designed this easy crochet bag using basic crochet stitches with US terminology of chains, single crochet, half double crochets and double crochet stitches so it is not complicated but still has an overall affect of looking fabulous. For UK crocheters there is a stitch conversion for you in the abbreviations.

This pattern is very easy to follow with a concise step by step guide showing large images at each step. Of course, if you have any problems with the pattern, you are more than welcome to contact me.

I have designed the bag in one continuous piece so it is quick and there are no seams to join. For this pattern I have used a 12 ply chunky cotton/acrylic but I have also made this bag in a 10 ply cotton and it looks just as good but will be a little smaller.

MATERIALS

CROCHET HOOK: METRIC: Size 5mm, USA: 8/H, UK: Size 6

I used Lang Yarn Cotone which is 12 ply 60% cotton/40% acrylic. Any yarn that is a chunky 10-12 ply approximately in cotton or cotton/acrylic would be suited to this project.

Darning needle to sew in ends.
