We’ve seen some baby sweaters made this way, but few adult ones-- this is a welcome change. You start at the front hem, cast on sleeves as you go, work up to the neck, cast off for it, continue on the sleeves, cast on gradually for the back neck, then continue down the back to its hem. At the end you have only the side seams to sew, and the neckband to work, then you’re done. Marvelously efficient and fun. If it’s hard to find the Cotton Boucle, you should be able to get gauge with two strands of the Silk & Merino DK or Supersock Select DK worked together; try playing with different colour combinations.
