Cowgirl Cowl is knit bottom up, in the round, using a picot cast-on. It’s a simple, quick knit and a STASHBUSTER that’s particularly suited for those who can handle a bit of recklessness….. here’s why:

This cowl is knit on 9.0 mm/US 13 circular needles using varied stash yarns of your choice, held together throughout, to produce a one-of-a-kind effect. Start playing around with your yarns. For the above I used two strands of very different bulky weight yarns, held together. I’ve also knit this pattern using three lighter weight strands. A swatch is essential, so take the time and play around. As long as your gauge is very close to mine, you’ll be good.

The yarn blending is the fun part…. the COWGIRL part…. of the pattern. Don’t be afraid to be weird. Yeehaw…
