This cowl can be made with any yarn, and needles suitable to the weight of the yarn you choose. It is perfect for that one special skein of yarn, and will make an excellent gift.

You will need:
• 100 g yarn in the weight of your choice
• A crochet hook in a suitable size to the yarn
• A circular needle with short cable in a suitable size to the yarn

Note: I recommend that you use a hook and needle slightly bigger than you normally would for the yarn you choose, to ensure nice drape.

The red sample was made with fingering on a 4 mm needle.
