A simple “weekend” knitting project worked in a round featuring a
combination of contrast color slipstitch cable zigzags on stranded
background with 2x2 ribbing for the top and bottom hems.

Finished measurements (unstretched, after blocking):
21” (60 cm) circumference, 9” (23 cm) height

Gauge:
22 sts per 4” (10cm) in main pattern with bigger needles
22 sts per 4” (10cm) in rib with smaller needles

Yarn requirements:
Any Aran weight yarn with approx. 210 yards/190 m in 100 grams
MC (main color) 104 yards / 95 m
CC (contrast color) 55 yards / 50 m

Sample shown has been knit with Mondial Prima in 2
colors.

Needles and notions:
Size US 9/ 5.5 mm needle or size needed for main pattern gauge
Size US 8/ 5.0 mm needle or size needed for rib gauge
Beginning of round stitch marker
