DESIGNERS NOTE An exciting little project - perfect to train short rows the easy way. Due the refined bind off method, the cowl is completely seamless. The pattern can be worked in one colorway or is ideal for use up wasted yarn. The design demands on a playful handling of the geometric forms. I have chosen black as main color and combined it with colored yarns. Try other combinations or materials. Cozy for cold autumn days.

MATERIAL 5 mm / US 8 needle; tapestry needle

3 x Drops „NEPAL“ (65% Wool, 35% Alpaca, 50g ~ 75m / 82yds),

Color A: #6273 Pink: 20g ~ 30m / 32yds
Color B: #0206 Beige: 20g ~ 30m / 32yds
Color C: #6220 Blue: 14g ~ 21m / 22 yds
Color D: #4311 Lila: 7g ~ 11m / 11yds

GAUGE 14 sts and 32 rows per 10 cm / 4 over garter stitch using 5 mm / US 8 needle

Please wash your swatch and check your gauge again. Sometimes you have to change your needlesize! If you have too many stitches to 10 cm / 4″ try using thicker needles. If you have too few stitches, try using finer needles.

ANMERKUNG Ein spannendes, kleines Projekt, bei dem verkürzte Reihen auf einfache Weise geübt werden können. Durch die raffinierte Abnahmetechnik kommt der Halswärmer ganz ohne störende Nähte aus. Das Modell kann einfarbig gearbeitet werden oder eignet sich wunderbar zum Einsatz von Garnresten und zum spielerischen Umgang mit den geometrischen Flächen. Hier habe ich Schwarz als Grundfarbe gewählt und mit farbigen Resten kombiniert. Kuschelig für erste kühle Tage.
