During these uncertain times it’s nice to have a simple textured knit to keep you company. This design has been a labor of love and has taken up most of my knitting time the last few weeks. It has given me comfort and joy to bring to life this pattern at a time when so many things in our world are so out of control.

My approach to design is to create as I knit and this shawl is the perfect example why. When I first started, I had a certain pattern in my head. As I knit a completely different shawl evolved, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the finished result. I hope you will all love it and find comfort in it as much as I do.

This is a triangular shawl with increases on the edges and center row with an easy to remember textured pattern. It has a icord bindoff to give it a clean finished look that does not take away from the pattern.The pattern is written in an easy to read, color coded, row by row, table format.
