These fingerless mittens are a perfect way to knit up a gorgeous, faded sock skein, when you want to knit something other than socks! I used a stunning Frenzy set from GingerSnap!

The patterning uses only knit, purl, and slipped stitches, and is easy to memorize. This pattern creates a very slouchy fingerless mitten, and because it has a thumb hole rather than a gusset and thumb, I like to pull them down my wrist to wear as sleeves.

Pattern Notes:
This pattern can be knit with the magic loop method or with DPNs. They’re knit from the bottom cuff upward, with a thumbhole rather than a gusset and thumb. One size option is included, with notes for where to adjust size if desired. The hand section is more fitted and knit as written fits a 7-7.5 inch/18-20 cm palm circumference.
