These socks are a perfect way to knit up a gorgeous, faded sock skein, when you want to knit something with some interest instead of a vanilla sock! The patterning uses only knit, purl, and slipped stitches, and is easy to memorize. It includes a heel flap and gusset for toe up socks – I find this heel fits as well as the heel flap and gusset for cuff down socks, after having given up on toe up socks because of fit issues! And then you can use up every bit of yarn!

Pattern Notes:
This pattern can be knit with the magic loop method or with DPNs. It’s knit from the toe upward, with a heel flap and gusset for toe up socks, but your favourite heel for toe up socks can be substituted.
