This pretty poncho works up fast with worsted weight (size 4) yarn and a Size M/N – 9mm crochet hook. The large hook is used with worsted weight yarn to keep the stitches loose and give a beautiful drape to the poncho. The attached cowl can be draped loosely or folded under to the desired shape. The yarn used in this project is Caron Cakes which is toward the thicker end of the worsted range. Using a thinner worsted weight yarn will not give you the correct gauge.

Measurements: 29” from center neck to bottom point; 20” from side neck to side edge; cowl is 9” high.

Materials:
Worsted Weight (size 4) yarn – 3 Skeins Caron Cakes (pictured in Buttercream)
Crochet Hook: Size M/N – 9mm
