I searched the world over for a basic mug cozy pattern that could use up some sport-weight cotton yarn that I had lying around, and create an appropriate gift for my brothers-in-law.
After leafing through dozens of lacy, granny patterns and weeding out the ones that required worsted-weight yarn (spoilers - all of them!) I decided to create my own pattern. This chic-looking mug sleeve has bulk where you need it to keep your fingers cool and safe while gripping your favorite travel mug. The solid pattern should appeal to people of all genders and personal tastes.
