This is the hat which I designed to share to my friend’s group and for the charity activity in Thailand “365 days, Warm Knit, Relieve Cold.” Even Thailand usually have hot weather almost all year but in the northern and northeast, when the winter come, the weather is very cold as well.

In this activity, people will bring yarn for knitting the stuffs to donate to people living on the mountain in winter time. The experienced people will teach newbie to knit, start with easy stuffs, and also give some advance advise if any people may need. We also share the patterns to each other. ^_^

I use Aran weight yarn for this design so the hat can protect well in the winter time.

The original pattern was not this fancy but as I almost run out of purple yarn when shaping crown, then I use the grey color instead in some stitches. As it came out nice, so I have revised the pattern to be according to the hat I knitted ^^’
