I was looking for a simple bandana style cowl to make for a craft show and just could not find the perfect one for the life of me. So, I decided to make my own! Enter the Crag Cowl!

The Crag Cowl is a simple and stylish cowl that can just be thrown on in the cold weather.

The bandana section is created first then the cowl section is created without fastening off. By joining the top corners of the bandana section, the back of the cowl is not bulky at all!

The Crag Cowl got its name after Mount Crag in New Hampshire, right next to where I went camping every summer as a kid!

Finished Size:
Cowl measures approximately 26” in circumference and 15” long from the neck down to the point.

Materials:
I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease, #4 Worsted weight yarn.
Any yarn of similar weight would work.
Approximately 197yds. (A little less than 1 skein)
6mm Hook
Stitch Markers
Yarn Needle
Scissors
