A Toe Up or Top Down sock designed to show off Variegated yarns.

This is the first in my “Regatta” series. As a child I went with my Dad to Dinghy Regattas during the summer around the Firth of Forth. Each pattern is named after a place my Dad sailed. Cramond was the nearest to home and I spent many happy weekends wandering around boats or going out in the Commodore Boat.

I hope these socks will give you as much enjoyment as I had as a child at Cramond.

Please note, this stitch allows for little or no ease. If you prefer a slouchy sock, go up a size or a needle size.
