A lightweight triangular scarf, ideal for exploring different color combinations or for showcasing that special skein of yarn. Simple and versatile, this piece works beautifully year-round.

Construction
Worked flat in one piece, from tip to tip, the straightforward construction makes it a relaxing, meditative knit. Shaping is worked along one side to create the triangular form, while a built-in i-cord edge provides a clean, tailored finish.

Finished Size
Approximately 38.5 inches (98 cm) long and 12 inches (30.5 cm) high after blocking. Size is easily modified. For a larger or smaller scarf, adjust the number of repeats completed as described in the pattern; modifications can affect yarn requirements.

Yarn
2 skeins of Alpaca 2 by Isager Yarn (50% Alpaca, 50% Wool; 273 yards 250 meters per 50 gm) or approximately 273 yards (250 meters), total, of light fingering weight yarn in 2 colors.

You will need approximately 137 yards (125 meters) in Color 1 and 137 yards (125 meters) in Color 2. The sample was knit using Alpaca 2 in the colorways 46 (Color 1) and 40 (Color 2).

Needles
One pair of straight needles or one 24-inch (60 cm) circular needle, US 4 (3.5 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge listed.

Other materials
Tapestry needle, blocking pins or wires.

Gauge
25 stitches and 34 rows, approximately, in 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch after blocking.
