These knitting notes include instructions and all necessary information to enable you to knit a quick hat in super chunky weight yarn. The notes include fitted and slouchy style, with or without brim in 7 sizes: 3 children and 4 adult sizes.

You will need:

Yarn: 200g Wool And The Gang Crazy Sexy Wool (100% Peruvian wool) or any super chunky weight yarn (200g/80m/87yrds, 4 wpi);

Needles: Yarn producer recommends US 17 / 12mm size needles. You will need short circulars and double pointed needles for crown decreases (double pointed needles can be smaller in size);

+Tapestry needle to weave in ends, scissors.

Difficulty: Easy. Necessary skills – cast on stitches, knit, purl, knit 2 stitches together.
Gauge: 10cm / 4in = 7 stitches, 10 rounds.
A gauge swatch is worked in stockinette stitch (right side row – knit all stitches, wrong side row – purl all stitches).
